No assembly lines allowed.

Most big-guy manufacturers, who use the parts they got the best bulk-price deal on at the time, also install proprietary motherboards and inferior power supplies that might not be compatible with later upgrades or replacements from other manufacturers.

You won't ever have to deal with that from us. We're different in that we only offer top-rated retail version components from specific manufacturers. Each machine is assembled from scratch and tested individually for three days by the same technician throughout the creation period, ensuring that your PC will perform to its maximum potential with all of the latest updates as of the date of its shipment to you.

We can pre-install...
your chosen operating system and updated hardware component drivers on one or more partitions, or simply leave the hard drive(s) empty and ready for you to format and use as you wish.

Dual-boot (Vista/XP) configurations available
Due to OEM licensing restrictions, if you order your PC with an operating system, it must be installed by us. This is per Microsoft's® licensing requirements for Windows® operating systems obtained through any computer manufacturer.
If you do not purchase your computer with an operating system, we will verify that it passes all hardware compatibility testing for Windows® Vista and XP before it is shipped to you.
Any operating system purchase will include a genuine Windows® Vista OEM DVD or XP Home/Professional Edition OEM CD from Microsoft®...no troublesome proprietary hidden restore drive partitions to deal with.
Operating system software, Microsoft® productivity suites, personal finance software, Norton Antivirus, and various other optionally included multimedia, productivity and game titles are all supplied on official CDs/DVDs with unique product codes and serial numbers.
We also ship all systems with a customized Drivers and Programs disc for your individual system, which includes all necessary hardware component drivers and software patches current as of the system build date. This disc has a convenient user interface, similar to this web site, and can also guide you through a complete reinstallation routine, if desired.

We have no obsolete components...
in stock to collect dust on a warehouse shelf. After you have placed your order, we order most individual components from our suppliers and assemble your machine with the latest hardware and software revisions available from the manufacturers at the time of your order. This way of doing things might mean an extra couple of days for you to receive your dream machine, but it's the best way we know to ensure that your baby is the latest and greatest. (Most customers receive their systems within 10 days of placing their order.)

If there's a particular component you'd like...
installed in your machine that isn't listed on our PC bistro menu, just contact us, letting us know what you'd like, and we'll do our best to make it happen. If there might be a conflict with another ordered component, we'll let you know and offer alternative options.

We cater to the PC enthusiasts...
who might build their own systems if we weren't here to do it for them the way that they'd do it themselves. They demand a "top in its class" system, one that will perform multimedia and multitasking duties without a hitch.

That's not to say that our target customers are computer whizzes; we make sure that our systems perform more reliably and efficiently than all of the major system builders, so that more novice users can enjoy their systems with less troubleshooting and hassles.

We specialize in products from Intel® & Microsoft®...
and they are the only processor and operating system manufacturers we list on our PC bistro menu. If you would like to go another route, just contact us, letting us know what you'd like, and we'll do our best to make it happen.

Now for the support policy:

In addition to the standard individual hardware component manufacturers' warranties (which we'll never pressure you to supplement with an unnecessary "extended" warranty) we'll provide complimentary lifetime technical support on the originally-installed operating system software and any other software drivers or programs that may have shipped with your individual computer. Additionally, we'll always promise to reply to all e-mail submissions, mail or telephone requests promptly, competently, and courteously, even if you'd like us to help you with something else that we didn't sell to you.

Lifetime technical support is defined as personalized electronically-submitted replies to your questions/issues via our support café web page or e-mail for as long as tastycomputers.com™ remains in business. Also, we don't charge for telephone support, but you may incur long distance toll charges from your long distance telephone service provider, if applicable. (We are happy to call you directly at any time in order for you to avoid any long distance toll charges...just let us know via e-mail.)
